Recognizing the growing strength of the emerging craft brewery sector\, and its impact on tourism in the region\, the Chamber created Celtic Oktoberfest to showcase the best of Nova Scotian craft beer and Cape Breton food. The addition of a local winery broadens the appeal of the event which attracts approximately 400 people each year. For the price of a ticket\, attendees receive all inclusive access to the highest quality products from nine breweries\, a winery\, and ten food establishments all while listening to 2 great Celtic / rock bands.
