DESCRIPTION:The Northern 2014 Lights Conference and Trade Show is a business and cultural showcase of Canada's eastern Arctic and North\, specifically the regions of Nunavut\, Nunavik and Labrador/ Nunatsiavut. The 2014 event is expected to attract more than 200 exhibits and 1\,500 participants from across Canada and internationally. The event includes the highly anticipated Arts and Culture Pavilion that will showcase the unique northern talents from some of the most talented artists\, craftspeople and performers in Canada. It also includes a large multi-sector trade show and many dynamic conference sessions surrounding topics including northern infrastructure and climate change\, transportation\, alternate energy solutions\, community preparedness for large-scale projects\, human resource skills and development\, mining and more.
