DESCRIPTION:The Association for New Canadians is holding a series of Business Roundtables across the province to explore the intersection of immigration\, culture\, and economic growth. Bringing together a broad cross-section of business leaders and community stakeholders\, these events highlight the socioeconomic contributions of newcomers to the province. At the same time\, they also serve to identify the opportunities and challenges of integrating newcomers into the workforce.\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that our sixth Roundtable will be held in Corner Brook in partnership with the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade.\n\n\n\nPanelists will include:\n\n	Kirk Myers\, Owner & Operator of Taste of Jamaica\n	Kevin Vincent\, Owner & Operator of Newfound Sushi\n	Dr. Ivan Emke\, Vice-President of MUN Grenfell Campus.\n\nThe session will begin with a brief report on the findings of the Roundtables and will also include a 30-minute panel discussion featuring local business leaders who have successfully leveraged the market's growing cultural diversity into a competitive advantage.\n\nFollowing the panel\, there will be a one-hour facilitated roundtable discussion among the participants.
