How do we continue to build a vibrant startup community in the Corner Brook region? Over the past few years there has been real progress in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our region. We have a strong coffee club hosted by Western NL Entrepreneurs, CNA hosted a Pitch 101 session last year, Navigate has hosted startup weekends and a create-a-thon, the Do-it-yourself Society has been actively building a maker community and CYN and partners have a youth startup event planned. A new event, Pitches and Pitchers, is about to be launched. Many partners are supporting these activities. How do we better coordinate what is going on and take our community to the next level? Who is missing in what has been happening so far? What are other ecosystems doing to strengthen their startup communities? Come join the discussion and bring ideas and your capacity to help!
