  • Welcome Our AGM Guest Speaker: Victoria Belbin

The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Victoria Belbin, Chief Executive Officer of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (Atlantic Division), as a featured guest speaker at our 2026 Annual General Meeting.

As global uncertainty continues to grow, Canada's aerospace, defence, and security sectors have never been more important to our nation's sovereignty, economic resilience, and ability to protect Canadians. Atlantic Canada is uniquely positioned to play a larger role in this rapidly expanding industry, with opportunities spanning manufacturing, technology, marine services, logistics, cybersecurity, skilled trades, and professional services.

Victoria will share insights into the growing defence and aerospace ecosystem in Atlantic Canada, emerging supply chain opportunities for businesses of all sizes, and how chambers of commerce can help connect local companies to this important sector. Participants will gain a better understanding of how defence spending strengthens communities, supports innovation, creates high-quality jobs, and contributes to Canada's long-term security and prosperity.

This is an excellent opportunity for chamber leaders to learn how they can support their members in accessing new markets, building strategic partnerships, and positioning Atlantic Canadian businesses as critical contributors to Canada's defence and security supply chain.
