REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Labrador North Chamber of Commerce (LNCC), in collaboration with regional economic development and training partners, invites qualified firms to submit proposals to develop a comprehensive Labour Market Assessment & Workforce Readiness Strategy for Major Economic Developments in the Lake Melville Region.
This strategy will support regional preparedness for anticipated major economic developments, including but not limited to:
---Future Churchill River hydroelectric and energy-related developments;
---Expansion of defence-related activities and investments associated with 5 Wing Goose Bay;
---Mining and resource sector growth opportunities;
---Transportation, logistics, marine, and aerospace opportunities;
---Indigenous workforce development initiatives; and
---Associated population, housing construction, and business growth.
The successful proponent will develop a coordinated strategy that enables the region to maximize economic benefits, strengthen workforce capacity, and ensure workforce readiness to support future projects.
