    Mandatory vaccination debate continues to be divided

    In recent weeks, federal and provincial governments have introduced mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements for their employees, health-care workers and within sectors like the federally regulated transportation sector. As we found our way through each of the four waves and sought to end the pandemic through vaccination, a vigorous debate has waged on this year across the country between those in favour and those opposed to vaccination.

    Atlantic Chamber of Commerce Launch New Platform to Gain Insight From Businesses

    ATLANTIC CANADA – The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce (ACC) has launched a new cloud-based community to help get feedback and insight from Atlantic Canadian businesses more efficiently. Atlantic IMPRESSIONS officially launched late last week. “During COVID, we noticed that things were turning around so fast – businesses needed help and they needed it fast,” said ACC CEO, Sheri Somerville.

    Recognizing the importance of education, the Chamber encourages businesses to provide comprehensive training for management and staff on the history of Indigenous peoples, including the legacy of residential schools, Indigenous rights, and Aboriginal-Crown relations.
