    Atlantic Chamber of Commerce CEO to Attend Canadian Chamber of Commerce Hill Day

    St. John’s, NL — The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce (ACC) is pleased to announce that Rhonda Tulk-Lane, CEO, will participate in the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Hill Day on December 1–2 in Ottawa.

    Hill Day brings together business leaders from across the country to meet with federal policymakers and highlight the most pressing issues facing Canada’s economy.

    Tulk-Lane’s primary focus during Hill Day will be:

    • Talent attraction and retention to support Atlantic Canada’s labour force needs

    • Strengthening immigration pathways that help employers fill critical skill shortages

    • Ensuring regional competitiveness by supporting sustainable population and workforce growth

    With Atlantic Canada’s business community facing persistent workforce challenges, Ms. Tulk-Lane will share insights and solutions gathered from chambers and businesses across all four provinces.

    Recognizing the importance of education, the Chamber encourages businesses to provide comprehensive training for management and staff on the history of Indigenous peoples, including the legacy of residential schools, Indigenous rights, and Aboriginal-Crown relations.
